What Now

  • Tell about a time in your life when you were wholly reliant on the Holy Spirit?
    • What about that circumstance made you look to God instead of earthly answers?
    • What difference did it make in your situation that you relied on the Holy Spirit instead of something or someone else?
  • What does it mean to be led by the Spirit?
    • Share with the group a time that you felt like you were led by the Spirit.
    • Did you receive any pushback from others?
    • What made you stick to listening to the Holy Spirit instead of shying away or looking elsewhere?
  • There were some examples given in the sermon about those who wanted more: Moses, Caleb, and Paul. What is common about each of their stories and desire for wanting more of what God had given them?
    • We were given three steps to receive more of the Holy Spirit in our lives: Repentance, Surrender, and Filling. Which of these steps do you tend to struggle with the most?
    • Who do you have in your life that you can confess your sins to and have them pray for you and encourage you?
    • What in your life do you need to surrender in order to have more room for the Holy Spirit?
    • Let’s take a moment now to ask the Holy Spirit to fill us and guide us in all that we need.
