INTRODUCTION

Every little boy had a dream. Little boys dream of killing the dragon & rescuing the beauty. They dream of being a super hero or making the winning touchdown in the super bowl. This is built into the heart of every man.

What did you want to be when you were young?

If you have sons/brothers, what do you think they wanted to be?

And yet as we mature in life, we drift toward making a living rather than making a difference. How have you observed this drift?

Why do think this is so common?

Sean said there are still dreams inside every man. Dreams of being a godly man, a great husband, father, leader, co-worker. Do you agree or disagree? Why?

Many men are hesitant to step out & lead because they don’t have confidence they’ll succeed. How has a fear of failure kept you from taking a risk?

Joshua challenged the men of Israel to make a choice about who they were going to worship & serve. Why do you think it’s important for men to make this choice?

What are the benefits of this being public?

How did you sense God leading you to say “As for me & my house, we will serve the Lord?” Did you do it? Why or why not?

To get the full story, you can read Joshua 24.1-16.
