Spiritual History

Our mission at Athens Church is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This first section about your spiritual history helps us to learn about your growing relationship with Jesus. Please be as complete and concise as possible.

The Bible teaches that God is relational. He desires a growing relationship with everyone. However, we are born separated from God because of sin. God's desire for a relationship with us is so great that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross as the payment for our sin. All who believe that Jesus Christ died on their behalf and believe that His death paid for their sin, have a relationship with God.
