Laurie is the Waumba Land Director, leading the environment for preschool

aged children. Laurie went to college at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, and majored in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Special Education. She taught

Kindergarten in both public and private school settings in Charlotte, North Carolina and Los Angeles, California. She and Matt were married in 2000 and have two kids,
